Medina County has a wealth of great parks. With County Parks, City Parks and the Hinckley Reservation and Spencer Wildlife Area, Medina County has something for everyone. Our parks are a great place for family days out, reunions or just to get away. They offer fishing, boating, picnic areas, trails, lakes, pools, educational facilities, sports fields, play areas and nature areas. Everyone can find something to do in our great parks. The Wolf Creek Environmental Center is a great place to relax and watch nature or attend one of their many educational programs.

The Medina City Park system consists of 12 parks covering 800 acres of developed and undeveloped parkland that offers many amenities from athletic fields to spray parks for all ages to enjoy.

Office open Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm. Medina County Park District seeks to enhance the quality of all life through education, conservation and the protection of natural resources.
Allardale: handicap accessible, picnic area, restrooms, hiking trails, pavilion, nature area, sledding. Remsen Rd, 1/4 mile west of Medina Line Rd.
Buckeye Woods Park: handicap accessible, picnic area, restrooms, play area/playground, hiking trails, lake, nature area, fishing, sledding sports fields/courts. Located on St Rt 162, one mile east of Lafayette.
Buffalo Creek Retreat Center Rental: handicap accessible, restrooms, pavilion, lake/pond/stream. 8708 Hubbard Valley Rd, Seville.
Chippewa Inlet Trail / Schleman Nature Preserve: handicap accessible, bike trail, hiking trail, nature area, lake/pond/stream. This 1.75-mile asphalt trail runs along the Chippewa Inlet from Buckeye Woods Park on St Rt 162 to Chippewa Rd.
Chippewa Rail Trail: bike trail, hiking trail. Between Chippewa Rd and Medina City.
Green Leaf Park: handicap accessible, picnic area, restrooms, play area/playground, nature trail, pavilion, fishing, sledding, soccer field, baseball field, sand volleyball. Located at the intersection of St Rt 162 and Medina Line Rd.
Hubbard Valley Park: handicap accessible, picnic area, restrooms, play area/playground, nature trails, pavilion, lake, fishing, sledding, soccer field, baseball field, sand volleyball. Located on Hubbard Valley Rd, one mile south of Blake Rd.
Krabill Shelter: enclosed shelter has heat/air conditioning, indoor plumbing, restrooms, full kitchen. Located at 7597 Ballash Rd, Medina.
Lake Medina: restrooms, lake, fishing. Parking available off Rt 18, near I-71 or Granger Rd.
Lester Rail Trail: handicap accessible, restrooms, bike trail, hiking trail. Lester Rd in York Township, 3/4 mile north of St Rt 18.
Letha House Park: picnic area, restrooms, play area/playground, hiking trail, bridal trail, pavilion. Richman Rd, 1/4 mile north of Spencer Lake Rd.
Plum Creek Park: handicap accessible, picnic area, restrooms, play area/playground, hiking trails, pavilion, fishing. Plum Creek Parkway, 3/4 mile south of Sleepy Hollow Rd.
Princess Ledges Nature Preserve: restrooms, hiking trails, nature area. Parking lot is accessible off of Spruce Ave, just west of Pearl Rd in Brunswick.
River Styx Park: restrooms, handicap accessible, restrooms, play area/playground, nature trails, pavilion, lake, nature area, fishing. Located at the intersection of Blake Rd and River Styx Rd.
Susan L. Hambley Nature Center: handicap accessible, picnic area, learning center, restrooms, nature trail, lake/pond/stream, nature area, fishing, sledding, wetland. 1473 Parschen Blvd in Brunswick.
