The Medina County Historical Society presents their first Membership meeting of 2023! Local historian and writer Miles Reed will present his own documentary about Porter Shoe Repair. In 1956 Mr. Robert Porter started a shoe repair business in the City of Medina. Sixty-six years later Porter’s Shoe Repair is still in operation. This is one of Medina’s oldest service-oriented businesses. There’s a wonderful history behind this business and the Porter family that deserves to be celebrated!
Join us on February 4th, at 1pm as we share, “The Story of a Medina Treasure.”
Location is the Medina County District Library, 210 S. Broadway St., Medina, Community Room A & B.
Admission is free. It is open to the public. We hope to see you, please join us!
