Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach (ORMACO) and the Wadsworth Public Library present cellist Olivia Polash on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at 2 pm at the Wadsworth Public Library, 132 Broad Street, Wadsworth, OH 44281. Bach’s famous Solo Cello Suites are a standard amongst cellists across the world and have been for many generations. Composers often look to these pieces for inspiration to write new, self-accompanying music for solo instruments. Olivia will present a sampling from the original cello suites, as well as some more contemporary examples of Bach’s influence.
The program is free, but reservations are recommended by registering online or calling 419-853-6016. Seating is on a first-come basis.
