The Plum Creek Greenway is a fully paved park with a 2-and-a-half-mile path that connects one park to another. Brunswick Lake along with the Susan Hambley Nature Center are set in the middle of Brunswick next to restaurants and a hotel making it a great place to plan a weekend getaway.

In 2025, The Park District opened Shotwell Gardens at Lake Medina. With paved and gravel accessible trails, visitors can walk over 2.5 miles with beautiful views of the lake. Shotwell Gardens also offers a great setting for picnics and bird watching, especially with views from their swing benches. Seasonal Entertainment will be offered in their stone amphitheater, complete with comfortable porch swings overlooking the venue.

The newly opened Tumble Bug Trailhead in Chippewa Lake winds through the beautiful setting which is part of the once iconic tourist destination of Chippewa Lake Amusement Park. The first phase offers visitors access to restrooms, a picnic shelter and a half mile walking and biking trail.

After a full weekend of playing outdoors, enjoy an upscale dining experience at the Oaks Lakeside Restaurant. This beautiful historic estate sits on the grounds of Chippewa Lake and begs you to relax and enjoy fine dining, both indoors and outdoors, with a spectacular view.
