John Smart Home Museum & Research Center (Medina County Historical Society)
Promoting, maintaining and preserving all such things as relate to and are of historical interest pertaining to Medina County. Beautiful 12 room Queen Anne shingle style house built by a prominent banking family. House contains antiques, historic items of business and political history. Built in 1886, the John Smart Home is a Victorian home housing the Society’s collections of county memorabilia.
Reservation required for groups
Open Houses are the 1st Sunday of the month, March through November 1:00-4:00 PM Check the website for special holiday open houses.
Tuesday tours from 10:00 – 12:00 by appointment only
Admission is donation.
