Located in Granger Township, Allardale Park is a standout destination for families and outdoor enthusiasts within the Medina County Park District. The park features the Lodge at Allardale, a spacious 4,800-square-foot indoor venue that can accommodate nearly 100 guests—ideal for gatherings and events. Visitors can explore a network of paved and natural trails winding through forests, meadows, and stands of trees planted by the Allard family, who donated their land to create this park.
New in 2024: Allardale Park is home to a brand-new, award-winning farm-themed playscape that quickly became a favorite for families. The playscape features a 30-foot slide, giant tire swing, balance beam and hopping logs, a play tractor, and more—all designed to spark children’s imaginations and give them a taste of farm life. The site includes three large silos providing shade, plenty of picnic tables, and a new ADA-accessible crushed limestone trail for easy access. An open-air shelter with views of the playscape is available for reservation, making it a perfect spot for birthday parties or family outings. This innovative playground was made possible by the Allard family’s vision and generosity, earning a first-place award from the Ohio Parks and Recreation Association in 2024.
Allardale also offers equestrian trails, a sledding hill, and a fully accessible picnic shelter nestled among the trees, making it a year-round destination for outdoor fun.
