Halloween Flea at The Common Ground

Get into the Halloween spirit at The Common Ground’s Halloween Flea on October 10, 2027. Guests are encouraged to come in costume and enjoy live music, food trucks and plenty of fall flea finds. Spooky photo opportunities will be set up throughout the indoor and outdoor spaces, while activities like trick-or-treating and pumpkin decorating add to the fun. It’s a festive way to shop, explore and celebrate the season.

“Night of the Living Dead” at Cellar Stage

Medina’s brand-new black box theater, Cellar Stage, kicks off its first season with a live-action production of the horror classic “Night of the Living Dead.” Complete with a splatter zone, this bloody production is recommended for audiences ages 18 and older. Performances run Thursdays through Saturdays from October 15 through October 31. Tickets are available online.

Wadsworth Thriller

Main Street Wadsworth is partnering with the McIlvaine Family to bring back the popular Wadsworth Thriller, a flash mob-style performance that was recognized as Heritage Ohio’s 2025 Best Main Street Committee Event. Zombies and Michael Jackson impersonators spend months rehearsing the famous “Thriller” dance, giving spectators a chance to experience this Halloween classic brought to life—or death—by local amateur dancers.

Join in on the fun on Saturday, October 17th from 5-8pm and enjoy events throughout downtown with trick-or-treating, restaurant specials and a spooky atmosphere throughout Wadsworth’s Main Street district.

Witches Night Out in Medina

New this year is a flash mob witches dance at 8 p.m. at the Uptown Park gazebo. The festivities take place Thursday, October 22, from 5–8 p.m.
