Baby Bird Shower benefitting Medina Raptor Center

Save the date! Our Baby Bird Shower is back and better than ever!

This year, the 2nd Annual Baby Bird Shower will be held on Saturday, May 4th, from Noon to 5:00 p.m. at Chatham Township Community Center on Avon Lake Road.

It’s a much bigger venue than last year – so more parking, more room to sit, more kids’ activities, and more birds to see and meet up close. Bring the family, enter to win a raffle basket, learn about birds, and help us help them! More details to come soon on our website and social media platforms.

Spring is the busiest time of year at the Medina Raptor Center.

Very soon, our hospital, songbird room, and outdoor housing will be teeming with not only our permanent resident birds but the unusually high intake of babies who’ve fallen from nests, injured learning to fly, abandoned, or separated from their nest.

So, lots of birds in our care means we need lots of supplies to support them. And that’s what the Baby Bird Shower is all about!
