1:30pm | The Lorain Lighthouse was built in 1917 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. View the Lighthouse from a vantage point great for photography while learning a brief history. |
2:00pm | Share in our treasured Lakeview Park with its lovely rose garden, WWI Memorial Fountain and the giant size “Easter Basket” built in 1937. |
3:00pm | Shopping, Shopping and more Shopping! The French Creek District has something to please everyone. Antiques and collectibles, floral designs and crafts, country décor and more. |
5:00pm | At Mapleside Farms wander over to the apple house for a tour and be sure to get your glass of cool, refreshing apple cider. Before you leave, check out the farm market featuring fresh homegrown produce in season, the craft shop and bakery. |
5:45pm | Dinner at Mapleside Farms where you will enjoy a wonderful and delicious catered meal. Dine in a unique atmosphere of rustic beans and a massive stone fireplace. |
8:30am | Enjoy a healthy muffin and coffee at Cool Beans Café on Medina’s Historic Public Square. |
9:15am | Enjoy an historic tour of Medina’s Public Square. After the tour, visit the Medina Toy & Train Museum and then enjoy shopping in the wonderful, quaint shops. |
11:45am | Enjoy a relaxing lunch at Williams on the Lake banquet center in a relaxing setting surrounded by natural beauty. Before leaving, be sure to step out on the deck and enjoy the view of the lake with picture perfect scenery. |
1:00pm | Stop by Root Candles at West Liberty where you will learn about the colorful history of the company and receive a votive candle. A stylish boutique brimming with unique and designer-inspired home décor, fashion, culinary items and, of course, candles. |
2:45pm | Stop by Boyert’s Greenhouse and enjoy a garden talk. You will find high quality plants and gift items as you stroll through the greenhouse and gift shop. Everyone will receive a small, seasonal plant. |
5:00pm | Enjoy a delicious and relaxing meal at TJ’s Restaurant. |
7:30pm | Arrive at Ohio Light Opera and enjoy a wonderful musical operatta. |

9:30am | Stop at the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center. The Secrest Arboretum is located on 85 acres of rolling land offering more than 2,000 species, varieties and cultivators of trees and shrubs for evaluation and viewing. |
11:30am | For a unique shopping experience, stop at the Pine Tree Barn, where you will find lots of new and unique products from Christmas ornaments to fine home furnishings. |
12:30pm | Lunch at an area restaurant. |
2:00pm | Your next stop will be the Wayne County Historical Society in Wooster. You will enjoy a guided tour of the museum and reconstructed historical buildings on the grounds. |
3:30pm | For all your garden needs, stop at Quailcrest Farm. Twenty-five gardens to explore and a gift shop of contemporary wonders. Beautiful grounds and picnic are available. |
